  • 4. EMI Sleeve Cores-RH TYPE

    Sleeve Cores

    • Sleeve Cores :

Shield RH series belong to the EMI suppression cores with sleeve  shape, to suppress high frequency noise from cables. RH cores are usually used for the cable assembly with plastic injection molding. offering high impedance, excellent high-frequency performance, low saturation tendency, and easy installation. They are widely used on digital signal lines, power and motor lines, and high-speed interfaces . If the design need higher impedance, increase the wire turns through the core is a fast and easy solution

           EMC Bead

    •  Outline :

Ferrite beads have been used as a simple method of increasing the loss in DC current and the Low-Frequency range of AC current. Major applications of ferrite beads include shortening antennas, preventing parasitic oscillation, phase correction, Etc. Now, to enhance the noise immunity of electronic devices, a new magnetic material has beren developed and commercialized as EMC bead. Ferrite beads can be broken down into two types, resistive ferrite bonds andinductive ferrite beads. The resistive bead series is used to preventing pulse ringing, and is used as the Low-Pass filter; the inductive bead series core is used for shortening the antenna and preventing parasitic oscillation .

    •  Features :

Employ High-Performance ferrites with superior frequency characteristic. Compact and high performance. Easy installation .

    •  Application :

High-frequency EMI/RFI suppression on signal lines for USB, HDMI, LVDS, and other high-speed interfaces
High-frequency noise suppression on power and DC lines for DC power supply leads and
suppression of high-frequency spikes from switching power supplies
Common-mode noise reduction in digital and control systems for Motor drivers, servo controllers Industrial control and communication equipment
Ideal for quick EMI fixes and easily applied by slipping the cable through the core

  • 5. EMI / Inductor Toroidal Cores-T TYPE

    • Toroidal cores :

Toroidal cores provide high performance when wound and used as cores for transformers, inductors, or chokes .

    • Outline :

The key to supp-ressing radiated noise emi-ssions generated by electr- onic equipment and systems is successful application of effective common-mode countermeasures at data lines. It could be used with series data lines, the data line is wrapped around the filter cores.Located between the CPU and terminal, they Dramatically reduce electro-magnetic noise .

    • Features :

Minimal effect on transmission waveforms. Provide low cost noise coun-termeasures right at the data lines. Can be added as First-Aid,On-The Spot counterme-asures when equipment or devices fail.Application: Com-puters, peripherals and term-inals data, Terminal equipm-ent.NC machines.Measuring equipment, equipment using sensors. OA equipment,Plain paper copiers. Improvement of noise immunity for TVs, FM/AM Tuners, VTRs/VCRs.Harness noise countermeas-ures for automobiles.ISDN terminal equipment.

    • Application :

LAN matching and isolation transformers.LAN common mode chokes.Power supply common chokes. Inductors. Current sensing transformers. DC-DC converters. Telecommunications. transformers. Linghting Ballasts. EMI filters.

  • 21. ROD CORE R TYPE

    Rod Core / Antenna Cores

    • Features :
Generally, Ferrite Rods are used as the core of solenoidal Coils for two main functions: Tuning: moving the core adjusts the coil to the required inductance value (L). Advantages of the open circuit are high Q and a good temperature stability. EMI suppression: the coil can carry a high DC current without being saturated because of the open magnetic circuit. In most cases, the frequency range will not be limited by the material, but by the coil capacitance. Curvature and mechanical tolerances of the standard range ful fill the requirements international standard. The L value and Q-factor are measured (up to 6 mm outer diameter) in a standard coil. For solenoidal coils, open circuit, No self shielding and not easy to saturate with DC.
    • Applications :
Tubes can be used in solenoid coils with almost the same effect as Rods. The inner hole is often used to insert wires to make a ferrite coil former. In EMI suppression applications tubes can also be shifted over wires. Because the magnetic flux path is then closed, a steep increase in impedance results. In such cases howerver the sensitivity for DC is rather high. Curvature and mechanical tolerances of the standard range fulfill the requirements of DIN 41291.

  • Toroidal cores
